This company is the result of the merger of two major Omani Engineering firms: Ibn Khaldun Consulting Engineers & Almadaen Engineering Consultants. This merger was inline with both firms’ directives to provide a high level of engineering services. Ibn Khaldun was formed in 1981 headed by Omani professional engineer, Mr. Musallam Qatan; B.Sc. Civil Engineering, New Haven University; USA. Musallam Qatan has held in the past various senior engineering positions in the government sector, undertaking the management of large infrastructure projects. Almadaen was formed in 1991 headed by Omani professional engineer, Mr. Fuad Al Kindi; B.Sc. Arch. Engineering; University of Miami; USA; M.Sc. Mech. Engineering; University of London; UK. Fuad Al Kindi has also held in the past various engineering positions in the government sector, undertaking prestigious palace projects and the management of large infrastructure projects
