Indian School Sohar
The Indian School Sohar was founded in 1982 and is managed by the association of members of the Indian business community. The school is an English medium, co-educational KG-XII institution affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and approved by the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman. The school has Science and Commerce stream in classes XI and XII. The School is intended primarily for the students of Indian nationality and Indian origin. The Indian business community in the year 1982 realised the need for having a school for the Indian community, and founded the school. The school got the CBSE affiliation for class X on 1st April 1994. The school was then upgraded and got affiliated for class XII in the year 2001.
